There are many steps to applying makeup correctly and ways to look more natural and healthy.

How to:
Step1:  Apply Foundation:  Be sure to cleanse your face thoroughly, apply toning, moisturize and begin to apply your foundation.  Put a small amount on the tips of your fingers, dot all around your face, such as your cheeks, forehead and chin and then begin to blend.

If you move your fingers upwards and outward, you have less of a chance to leave a visible makeup line.  Don't forget your eyelids, and then check a mirror to make sure you don't have lines.

If you have blemishes, discolored skin or dark spots or circles under your eyes, use some concealer to cover up these flaws.  NATU-CLEAR is excellent in removing uneven skin tones and dark spots.

Step 2: Apply Powder:  Be sure to have a good powder brush to apply your translucent powder.  If you brush in a downward motion, you will get more of a smooth finished look.  The powder also helps your eye makeup blend more evenly and last longer, and will give you a more fresh look.

Step 3:  Apply Eye Make Up:  Apply your base color to your lash line first, before applying the color to your crease.  Apply your crease color, followed by your highlights in the area below the brown bone.  You next need to blend the colors so they won't look painted on with a cotton ball, soft tissue, or finger tips.  If you find that your make up looks too bold or clown-like, tone it down with a little translucent powder and then apply your eyeliner and mascara.  Afterwards, take your powder brush and dust your face downward with your translucent powder to get rid of any shadow or mascara speckles.

Step 4:  Apply Blush:  Always apply your blush to the apples of your cheeks or the cheek bones, but not both.  Your cheeks should radiate after applying.  Blush should go directly beneath the iris of your eye, but not any closer to your nose.  Invest in a good tapered brush that allows to you have precise placement.  This really is a must in every woman's makeup kit.

Step 5:  Apply Lipsticks:  Always choose a lip liner pencil that is close to the color of your lipstick.  You can also use a professional lip brush to define the outline of your lips.  The next step is to apply your lipstick and try to blend the liner into the lipstick so that you don't see a fine line and have a more natural and blended look.  Always start in the center and go out from there.
